Florida Museum of Natural History hosts a bi-monthly FMNH Seminar Series on Fridays at 3:00PM in Seminar Room 371 Dickinson Hall. Next seminar will be held on April 12, 2019 with Dr. Brad Shaffer (Distinguished Professor, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, UCLA) presenting “Systematics, conservation and genomics: Museum science in a changing world”.
April 19th: Dr. Peter Fritsch, Vice President of Research/Director of the Herbarium, Botanical Research Institute of Texas, presenting “Biogeography, breeding systems, and the evolution of fruit color in the wintergreen clade”.
April 26th: Public talk, forum, and reception that will provide an opportunity for increased knowledge and dialog about Red Tide – its impacts on Florida, our natural ecosystems, and people. NOTE: Location is different: McKay Auditorium in Pugh Hall, 296 Buckman Drive Refreshments at 2:30PM
